Meeting for Worship is held each First Day (Sunday) from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Meeting for Worship is based on faith that men and women can enter into direct communion with God. In meeting for worship we try to capture the same spirit, a sense of God's presence in the midst, and to be open to new revelation. We gather in silent waiting upon God without designated leadership or program. For the meeting to be successful, all must share and respond.
Childcare is provided during Meeting for Worship, Meeting for Business and adult education programs.
First Day School (September –June) meets weekly from 10-11 AM and is equivalent to most churches' Sunday schools. Children in Grades K - 12 and younger are taught the fundamental basics of Quakerism and Christianity. Check regarding the schedule for high school as they meet less frequently.
Meeting for Worship with Concern for Business is held at 11:30 A.M. on the third First Day (Sunday) of the month (except July, August, and December). At this meeting we discuss the issues facing the Meeting at the current time. During the Business Meeting representatives of certain committees give reports to those attending the meeting. The clerk runs the meeting. All members/attenders are welcome to attend. Adult education programs are regularly scheduled.
Potluck lunches are held at 11:30 after meeting on the second Sundays of the month.
Youth Retreats (elementary, middle school and high school) are regularly scheduled with youth from other New England Quaker Meetings.
