The West
Hartford Town Plan and Zoning Commission also acting as the Inland Wetlands
and Watercourses Agency, at a Regular Meeting on September 4, 2002 took
the following actions:

WETLAND PUBLIC HEARINGS AND DECISIONS UNTIL MONDAY, OCOTOBER 7, 2002:

Westmont - Application (IWW #730) of Faiman Construction, LLC,
R.O. (Gary Faiman Development, LLC, applicant). The applicant is
requesting approval of an Inland
Wetland and Watercourse Permit and permission to conduct certain
regulated activities which may impact on a wetland and watercourse
area. Mr. Faiman is proposing a modified storm water management
system on his lot which is intended to support the construction
of a one (1) family home with a footprint of 2,400 s.f. The water
management system provides for storm water interceptors in the front
yard, along the westerly side yard and in the southwest corner of
the subject lot. The drainage water will exit the underground system
and flow into an open drainage channel at 11 Dodge Drive and across
a portion of 11 Midland before entering a watercourse which is the
easterly tributary of Hunter Brook. (Submitted for IWW receipt on
July1, 2002. Determined to be significant and set for public hearing
on August 5, 2002; continued to September 4, 2002; further continued
to October 7, 2002.)

Mountain Road - Application (IWW #731) of Worth Avenue Associates,
LLC, record owner, Michael Chaffin, project contact person, requesting
approval of an Inland
Wetland and Watercourse Permit to conduct certain regulated activities
which may have an impact on a wetlands and watercourse area. (Tumbledown
Brook) The proposed regulated activities include replacement of
an existing bridge/brook crossing with a new bridge brook crossing;
improvement of bridge approaches within areas not designated as
wetland soils; development of non-wetland soils area east of Tumbledown
Brook with a regulated buffer area with fourteen (14) residential
luxury condominium dwelling units. The residential units will be
placed outside the mapped 100-year flood plain. The existing access
driveway will be replaced with a new driveway. (Submitted for IWWA
receipt on July 1, 2002. Determined to be significant and set for
public hearing on August 5, 2002; continued to September 4, 2002;
further continued to October 7, 2002.)
