The Business & Community Development Office acts as a liaison with the business community of West Hartford. It is the function of this office to assist businesses seeking to expand or find new sites within West Hartford and to assist new businesses seeking to move into West Hartford.

The office also oversees the Housing Services Office, a Community Development Block Grant funded program that helps income eligible homeowners make necessary repairs to their homes.
