Chief Austin presents The Patrick L. Brooks Fire Fighter of the Year Award to Fire Fighter Gregory W. Hill. Greg was chosen by his peers for this honor.

Apparatus Operator Daniel Yost was honored this year with the Gene T. Hoffman Award for Driver of the Year because of his professionalism, competency and work ethic.

A CPR Save Award was presented to Lieutenant Jay Moreau, Apparatus Operator Ron Forster and Fire Fighters Joe Robidoux and Paula Kenahan. They responded to a call for an unresponsive person in February of 2007. When they arrived the patient had no pulse and was not breathing. After performing CPR the patient resumed breathing. Due to their quick efforts the patient recovered after hospitalization.

The crew of Quint 2, Lt. Carl Dojan, Fire Fighters Rich Brayall, Jim Williams and Patrick Finn, responded to a structure fire in March 2007. Upon arrival they heard someone in the house calling for help. They were able to locate the resident in a heavy smoke condition and brought the resident out of the structure to be treated by EMS personnel. For their quick actions they were presented a Unit Citation.
