Community Vegetable Gardens
West Hartford's Community Garden plots are available to TOWN RESIDENTS ONLY (proof of resedency required) at the following locations: Buena Vista (BV) on Cornerstone Drive; Westmoor Park (WP) on Flagg Road; and Wolcott Park (WL) on Wolcott Road.
Garden plot rentals are available through the Westmoor Park office only; subletting of plots is not permitted. EACH and EVERY GARDEN PLOT RENTER, including those who share garden rentals, MUST complete and sign a rental agreement form. Each garden partner must include the name, address, and phone number of both PRIMARY GARDENER AND CO-GARDENER on ALL rental agreements. Residents may rent a maximum of two full size plots per season.

Year 2006 Garden Plot Registration
Mail-in registrations will only be accepted for Primary Gardeners wishing to renew (up to two full size plots from year 2005). Primary Gardeners relinquishing or transferring plots to their Co-Gardeners must first notify the Westmoor Park office in writing prior to renewing their lease (or previous to October 15 as the season closes), so as not to forfeit the existing lease for the co-gardener (co-gardeners DO NOT receive renewal notices). *Gardeners who desire to change garden plots must first renew their 2005 plots by the deadline specified in the next line *(see next paragraph under PLOT CHANGES for more details on plot changes).
Mail-in renewals must be postmarked by February 17, 2006. We cannot guarantee your plot from last year after March 4, 2006! Please complete the registration form in full. Return it to "Westmoor Park" with your check made payable to Westmoor Park or a MasterCard or Visa number with the expiration date. For the 2006 garden season, please note changes in gardening procedures and return your completed rental agreement with payment, promptly. Garden plots cannot be held without a signed rental agreement and payment.
