Sassafras is a Sicilian Donkey. This breed has a black cross on its back. He is a miniature donkey, which is classified by size. Donkeys are used on farms because they are very strong and sure footed. Donkeys are very smart, friendly and make great companions for horses. Sassafras loves attention. Kids love to groom and pet him.

The type of sheep at the Park are raised for their wool. Some sheep are long wooled while others are short wooled. You can see our sheep, plus many others, be shorn every spring at Farm Day. Morgan is a Dorset, a popular breed of sheep, which has short wool.

Godiva is a colored sheep, she is black and gray.  Her wool is long and curly and very fine.
