Birthday Parties

Westmoor Park offers birthday party packages for children of all ages. Located in the spacious Hunter Room, the party area looks out onto the park and Avon Mountain beyond.

WESTMOOR PARK BIRTHDAY PARTY INFORMATION

• Birthday parties are available for children of all ages.
• Parties are offered on Saturdays or Sundays only. One party is booked per day.
• You may choose 11am-1pm, noon-2pm or 1pm-3pm
• The fee for West Hartford residents is $120.
• The fee for nonresidents is $140.
• Included in the fee:
  • Use of the Hunter Room and the adjacent kitchen
  • One hour with the naturalist for a hands-on Farm & Nature Tour
• Maximum number of children (including siblings) is 20.
• Maximum capacity for the party room (adults & children combined) may not exceed 45.
• Set up, clean up, and all party materials including decorations, paper goods, food, games, etc. are the sole responsibility of the renter.
• To reserve a date, individuals must come to the Westmoor Park office during business hours to complete a Room Rental Agreement Contract. A $75.00 security-deposit check is required at that time. (The deposit check is completely separate from the full fee and will be returned to the renter at the end of the party once the room has been returned to its original condition).
• Full payment is due two weeks prior to the party.
• Parties may be cancelled without penalty up to two weeks prior to the reservation.
• Smoking & the use of alcoholic beverages is prohibited anywhere on Westmoor Park Grounds.

Adult supervision of children is required at all times. For more information call Westmoor Park at 860-561-8260. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9-4:30.

Meetings

Westmoor Park is also a great place for adults to get together for socials, community meetings or business reasons. The Hunter Room can accommodate up to 45 people, and includes tables and chairs which you can set up to fulfill your needs. The room can be rented Monday through Thursday from 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm. during September through May, and Saturdays or Sundays from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, throughout the year. Those renting the Hunter Room may also rent the adjacent kitchen, which includes a refrigerator, oven, stove and microwave oven. While the kitchen is not equipped to handle large-scale food preparation, renters may prepare snacks and refreshments.
