Recognition Award - awarded to any sworn member who has received and award for the performance of a police duty by a civic group or other law enforcement agency.. West Hartford Employee Service Award - awarded to any employee of the Town of West Hartford whose cooperation or actions have aided the West Hartford Police Department in the prevention of crime, the apprehension of criminals or in the performance of valuable service to the department. West Hartford Citizens Award - awarded to an individual or organization whose operation has aided the West Hartford Police Department in the prevention of crime, the apprehension of criminals or in the performance of a valuable service to the department.
