Community Interaction Team (CIT)

Officers assigned to the Community Interaction Team patrol specific areas where criminal activity has been reported or observed. This proactive unit is responsible for suppressing street crime and gang activity, and for providing information on these activities to patrol officers.

These officers also work with local merchants to address their crime-related concerns and to find ways to make their neighborhoods and business districts crime-free environments.
