Youth Services Division The Youth Services Division is responsible for investigating juvenile crimes as well as crimes against juveniles. The unit has expanded its scope to include the investigation and prosecution of Internet-related crimes aimed at the exploitation of juveniles. In addition, Youth Services detectives act as the police department's liaison with the town's Juvenile Review Board. This board helps juvenile offenders understand the consequences of their actions and determines the appropriate level of compensation or community service required to make restitution.
