What can I bring?
Many common materials found throughout your home are classified as hazardous. So look high and low. Leave no stone unturned. And if you don't intend to use it, bring it to us. This list is not meant to be all inclusive. There are many other similar items in your home that are hazardous.

Garage and Workshop Kitchen and Sink
  • Antifreeze
  • Batteries (all common household types)
  • Brake Fluid
  • Gasoline
  • Kerosene
  • Mercury (including thermometers)
  • Oil Based Paints (no latex)
  • Paint Strippers / Thinners
  • Transmission Fluid
  • Turpentine
  • Aerosol Cans (if there's something in them)
  • Ammonia
  • Disinfectants
  • Drain Cleaners
  • Floor Care Products
  • Oven Cleaners
  • Polishes
  • Spot and Stain Removers
  • Wood Preservatives

Yard and Hobby

  • Adhesives, Epoxy Products, and Glues
  • Artist's Paints
  • Charcoal Lighter Fluid
  • Cleaning Solvents
  • Fungicides
  • Herbicides, Insecticides, and Pesticides
  • Moth Balls
  • Pool Chemicals
  • Rat Poison
  • Small Propane Tanks (for camp stoves and torches)
