Important points to remember about leaf collection:

• Remove branches, sticks and stones from leaves because they can injure leaf-collection personnel, damage equipment, and slow the collection.
• Rake leaves to the edge of the road - not into the street. Leaves when wet cause slippery driving conditions and drainage problems by plugging catch basins.
• Do not park your car on top of a leaf pile; hot catalytic converters can cause a spontaneous fire.
